In CCleaner Cloud, there are 4 options which you can use to Defrag your computer. These are:
Normal Defrag
This will run a standard Defrag process which will place all the parts of a file on to the same section of the hard drive, which helps to speed things up.
Quick Defrag
This will run much more quickly, but will not have as optimal a result as the normal Defrag.
Defrag Freespace
This option will make Defraggler fill up freespace chunks with whole files only. Choose this option if you want to reduce the amount of fragmentation in your current files.
Defrag Freespace (allow fragmentation)
If you select Defrag Freespace (Allow fragmentation), Defraggler will use file fragments to fill up freespace. You should use this if you want your freespace to be as defragmented as possible.
To use one of these options to Defrag your hard drive, just follow these steps:
- In Defraggler, select the drive which you want to defragment.
- Select the dropdown arrow next to Quick Defrag
- Choose your desired Defrag option.
